Role Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing engineering documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the permit filing and approval process. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and internal teams to deliver accurate and timely engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review engineering drawings, reports, and technical documentation
Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and Department of Buildings (DOB) requirements
Assist with permit applications, filings, and approvals
Coordinate with clients, architects, and project teams
Review and resolve violations and compliance-related issues
Maintain accurate project records and documentation
Qualifications
Strong skills in technical analysis, problem-solving, and engineering design
Experience with regulatory compliance, permit applications, and building code adherence (preferred)
Proficiency in drafting, modeling, and CAD
Excellent collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively with clients and team members
Familiarity with the Department of Buildings processes (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field)
Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one of the licensed states (preferred)
Salary Range
$60,000 – $120,000
